Our Hollands
Past and Present Notable Members of Our Herd
Murphy's Baxter
Baxter was one of my original herd bucks. Much of my line started with him and Bruno
Baxter had 47 GC legs including multiple RIS wins

Murphy's Bruno
Along with Baxter, Bruno was my original herd buck.
Bruno had 71 GC legs, including multiple BOB wins at state conventions

Sibling's Chip
Chip was the original herd buck I purchased. Father to both Baxter and Bruno, he produced better than himself.
Chip was a compact smaller buck, but paired with larger does he created some awesome offspring to start my line. I did not breed Sibling's lines to itself, but it did outcross well with other lines to help me create my own distinct line.
2018 Top Lop
53 GC Legs
Spanky is related to nearly everything in my barn. He was a superb producer and was capable of producing better than himself. He was the product of a medium sized doe (Spunky Brewster, who only had 3 GC legs but whose sister won her class at Convention) and a buck who was 4 lbs by 4 months, appropriately named Tank
Murphy's Spanky
Murphy's Kevin
2023 Top Lop
75 GC Legs at just 3 years old
Kevin is out of Spanky's son Uno. He was BOS at the 50th ARBA Convention in 2023 at not yet 1 year old. He has a pile of BOB, BIS and RIS wins. He was also 2nd place Top Lop in 2024 with limited showing. He's not been on the table much since winning Top Lop his first year, but he comes out of the barn on occasion. Recently he placed 2nd in the SSB class at the 2025 ARBA Convention despite not being in top fur and condition.
Murphy's Gavin
Youth Top Lop 2023
Gavin has had a storied career. He won BOB at Nationals in Kansas in 2022, repeated as BOB in Ohio in 2023 and has had a ton of BOB, BIS and RIS wins. Gavin is out of the same father as Murphy's Kevin.
Murphy's Harlo
Harlo presently has 13 legs and counting. He is out of the same exact breeding as Kevin, but he's a bit younger. At the 2025 ARBA Convention he was 3rd place SSB, right after his brother Kevin. He's producing some beautiful grand champions of his own and is definitely creating awesome offspring.
Murphy's Joker
17 GC Legs
Joker is a GC Jester son (Jester was a broken tort buck that had a phenomenal show career, but sadly we lost him at a young age). Joker has added some color to our barn and has sired some of the young GCs in our herd. He was BOSV at 2023 Nationals in Ohio and won all 3 SSB classes all weekend long there ending with a BOS at Ohio Convention. Joker doesn't come out to shows much anymore, but he's still producing offspring in our barn.

Murphy's Alfie
Alfie currently has 35 GC legs so far including multiple BOB, BIS and RIS wins. Alfie has done very well at large shows placing first at day after Nationals shows on more than one occasion, including a BOS win. He has a large head and an even larger personality. He is producing lots of GC offspring for us.

Murphy's Simon
Simon is still a very young buck, but he had an excellent junior show career and came out as a young senior to earn his granding leg. He's presently sitting at 11 legs and we're waiting for him to molt out his dead coat and be ready again to go out and play with the big boys. In the meantime, he's already producing nice babies in our barn. Simon is a Skittles son, but has more mass, width and bone than his father.

Murphy's Stump
50 GC Legs
Stump was most notably the BOB winner of the 2022 Holland Lop Nationals in Kansas. He has won numerous BOB and BOV awards along the way. He is now retired, but living comfortable with a small harem of women in our "Del Bocca Vista Retirement Community." His lineage is intact in our lines within rabbits still in production.

Murphy's Jester
21 GC Legs
Unfortunately we only had Jester from 2021-2022. He had a storied show career in that small amount of time and, thankfully, multiple children that are still impacting our herd. Jester was a one-of-a-kind rabbit whose flame was both very bright, also far too brief. RIP little buddy.

Murphy's Scamp
26 GC Legs
Scamp is a more compact buck than some of my more massive boys like Kevin or Alfie. To me, he looks more like a mixture of an old school style smaller Holland, but with the addition of better bone than what many Hollands had years ago. He's a great producer who has won BOB at state conventions and who can certainly compete with our big boys when he's in coat and condition. He also stamps his short body onto his offspring, so he's been integral in my barn to acquire that short type with the mass we want to be at the top of the standings.

Murphy's Pandemic
21 GC Legs. I'm sure you can all guess when Pandemic was born. He was a member of the class of rabbits in my barn that didn't get to see the show tables, but represented what I was working on that long year, which was shortness of body. Pandemic represented both the shortness and body and ear placement that were my goals that particular year. He therefore didn't have much of a show career as a junior, so most of his show wins were as a senior. He has won a number of BOB and BOV wins, as well as some BIS and RIS wins over the years and still looks pretty good and is producing nicely in my herd.
On a side note, this rabbit has a heck of a story from when he was 3 years old. He started showing signs of stasis which turned into a period where he literally couldn't pick up his head and had it forehead down at all times. I syringe fed this sweet boy for nearly a month before one of the drugs (an antibiotic) we were throwing at him finally paid off. He went from laying on his side and me saying my goodbyes one day to him sitting back up and eventually returning to normal. Fittingly, his first show out after that traumatic event he went on to win a Best in Show.
Murphy's Skittles
36 GC legs
Skittles is our main broken herd buck. He produces better than himself and has a multitude of offspring that went on to grand. His biggest win for us was when he won the BSB class at Nationals in Ohio in 2025. Skittles has multiple BOB and BOV wins to his name. He had some ear control as a junior and can still pick up his ears if you scratch under them, but they're so incredibly thick and short that I'd love to have them on every rabbit in our herd.

Murphy's Lulu
2018 SJD Class winner
Multiple BOB and BOS wins

Murphy's Emma
Won the BSD class at ARBA Convention in Harrisburg
Multiple BOB and BOS awards
